The purpose of this Policy is to provide information about the principles of personal data processing of the Controller’s Contractors being individuals, including persons conducting business activity, their representatives, designed for contact purposes, other third parties, whose data will be collected by the Controller, in particular to establish cooperation or execute agreements between the Controller and the Contractors.
General Information Clause
According to the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data as well as the repealing of the Directive 95/46/WE (General Data Protection Regulation), (Official Journal of the UE L 119, p.1) hereinafter RODO we inform you that:

II. The purpose and legal basis for processing.
Just Be Innovative sp. z o.o. carries out research and investment activities. We focus on pharmaceutical and technology markets, on cooperation with research laboratories and academia around the world.
Processing your personal data, for the purposes described above, related to the activity of the Controller, the Controller might refer to one or several following legal basis, according to the circumstances:
a) Pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (b) RODO – in order to take appropriate actions upon your request, prior to the conclusion of the agreement and in connection to the implementation of the agreement,
b) Pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (c) RODO – to fulfil legal obligations of the Controller,
c) Pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) RODO – to ensure the legitimate interests of the Controller to facilitate cooperation, for direct marketing or for determination, inquiry or defence of claims,
d) Pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) RODO for communication and marketing purposes using information and communication tools (e-mail, phone, website).
III. Period for which the data will be stored.
1. The Controller shall process your personal data for the period necessary to conclude or execute the agreement, to review your request or case, and will store your data for the period required by provisions of law for the purposes of archiving, related to the requirements Accounting Act, Tax Code well as period necessary to determine protection or settle mutual claims,
2. The Controller might process your data on the basis of individual consent for (e.g.) marketing, communication purposes using information and communication tools until your consent for such processing is withdrawn (you may withdraw your consent sending e-mail on address: office@justbeinnovative.pl).
IV. Information related to obligatory/voluntary providing of the personal data.
Providing personal data is voluntary but might be necessary to conclude and execute the agreement with the Controller. In case of providing personal data, on the basis of consent for (e.g.) marketing and communication purposes – using electronic communication – the consent might be withdrawn at any time (you may withdraw the consent sending e-mail to: office@justbeinnovative.pl). In case of lack of the consent for personal data processing in the above-mentioned purposes, your personal data won’t be processed in this regard.
V. Recipients of the data.
Your personal data can be disclosed solely to:
- Providers of technical and organizational services for the Controller, to the extent necessary to perform thereof, but solely within the scope of authorizations or entrustments (in particular, to providers and entities specialized for ensuring the technical service of ICT systems and video surveillance systems),
- Entities authorized under the provisions of law.
VI. Rights of the person whose data are processed.
According to RODO you have the right to:
a) access to the content of your data,
b) have the inaccurate data rectified,
c) erase, restrict processing of the data (where appropriate),
d) transfer the data (where appropriate),
e) object to the processing of personal data, pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) RODO (legitimate interest of the Controller),
f) lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in the sense of RODO (President of the Personal Data Protection Office: ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa)
To the extent that your data are processed on the basis of your consent , Art. 6 (1) (a) RODO, you may additionally benefit from:
g) right to withdraw your consent. Withdrawal of the consent does not effect the lawfulness of the processing prior to the withdrawal time (you may withdraw the consent by e-mail to: to: office@justbeinnovative.pl).
VII. Automated decision making.
You shall not be subject to automated decisions (without human involvement). Your personal data shall also not be used for the purposes of profiling without your prior consent.
VIII. Transfer of personal data to a third country or an international organisation.
The Controller shall not transfer your personal data to recipients located outside the European Economic Area (European Union countries, Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein), but if you contact the Controller by e-mail, other means of communication – which servers are located in third countries – there is a risk of processing personal data without complying with the security requirements according to the RODO. The Controller hereby proposes that you verify the procedures and privacy policies of external service providers and those selected by you for communication purposes.
IX. Minimization of the scope of personal data.
The Controller undertakes any adequate means to ensure that the scope of personal data processed is limited solely to the personal data necessary for purposes enlisted in this Policy.
This Privacy Policy can be changed and updated to reflect changes in practices of the Controller in personal data processing or changes of legal regulations.
